Shae

Shae - Manager

A born and bred Queenstown local, Shae has been helping out at Ben Lomond Horse Treks in her spare time for 5 seasons. 

Taking the reins as the manager this year, Shae has great local knowledge and 22 years of riding experience.  Shae's young horse, River , is becoming a guides favourite on the longer treks. Shae is in charge of keeping the horses and guides happy and making sure that everyone that comes to Ben Lomond Horse Treks has a great time.

Flore

Flore - Senior Trek Guide

It is wonderful to have Flore join us again for her fourth season Trek Guiding with Ben Lomond Horse Treks.  Flore initially came to us while on a working holiday in NZ (after trek guiding in the North Island), she asked to stay one month.... but she enjoyed it here so much she has decided she wants to stay forever!  Flore has been responsible for much of the saddle training to ride of our ex harness horses. She has a great knowledge of all our horses, and the best places to take your trek. Flore speaks fluent English & French.
